Job Summary: 
This role is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.  The ideal candidate will 
have a strong understanding of market trends, negotiation tactics, and supply chain dynamics and a proven track record of achieving cost reductions. We’re looking for an experienced and driven individual who works cross-functionally, moves fast, and isn’t afraid to suggest process improvements or new ideas along the way.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans aligned with company goals.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
  • Optimize inventory levels to minimize working capital while maintaining service levels.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal value.
  • Monitor supplier performance and develop strong relationships to ensure compliance, continuous improvement, and lead time reductions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., production, R&D, finance) to understand procurement needs and align sourcing strategies.
  • Analyze market trends and risks to anticipate supply chain disruptions and opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and reports for audit and analysis purposes.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and process improvements across the procurement function
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve production issues and optimize workflow. Support new product introductions and process validations.
 
Qualifications:
·         Experience: 2+ years of experience in strategic purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management. Experience with electrical products – wires, components, control panels, pcbs, etc. - is preferred.
  • Track record of achieving measurable cost reductions.
  • Skills: 
    • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
    • Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
    • Strong initiative and a proactive mindset.  Strong project management and organizational skills.
