Position Overview
 Sterling Technologies is seeking a hands-on SMT / PCB / EMU Technician to support electronics manufacturing operations. This role includes PCB assembly, SMT processing, testing, troubleshooting, and electrical assembly (harness/panels).
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 PCB Assembly & SMT Operations
 - Perform THT and SMT soldering
 - Support stencil printing, pick-and-place, and reflow oven
 - Load components and feeders
 - Read schematics, drawings, and BOMs
 
 Rework, Repair & Troubleshooting
 - Repair solder defects (bridging, cold joints, etc.)
 - Perform PCB rework and modifications
 - Diagnose component-level issues
 - Support failure analysis
 
 Testing & Inspection
 - Use DMM, oscilloscope, and test fixtures
 - Perform visual inspection (microscope/AOI)
 - Verify IPC standards
 - Document defects
 
 Electrical Assembly (EMU / Harness)
 - Wiring, crimping, connector assembly
 - Harness and panel support
 - Follow wiring diagrams
 - Ensure proper terminals/seals
 
 Production & Quality
 - Follow work instructions and documentation
 - Maintain production records
 - Support process improvements
 - Follow ESD procedures
 
 Qualifications
 - 1–3 years' experience or technical training
 - Basic soldering required
 - Ability to read drawings
 
 Preferred
 - SMT experience
 - IPC standards familiarity
 - Harness experience
 
 Work Environment
 - SMT production floor
 - ESD-controlled environment
