- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions
- Organize and gather materials, tools, and components for efficient workflow
- Route, wire, and assemble harnesses using wire layout boards and assembly fixtures
- Perform a variety of detailed hand‑assembly operations following precise instructions
- Operate semi‑automatic tools such as crimping presses, wire strippers, and wire twisters
- Conduct continuity, functional, and quality tests using test fixtures
- Solder wires to switches, connectors, and other components
- Inspect assemblies for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organized workspace
- 2–4 years of experience in electrical assembly, harness building, or related production work
- Minimum 1 year of wiring harness assembly experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent hand dexterity
- Ability to read and understand schematics, instructions, and technical documents
- Detail‑oriented, motivated, and committed to producing quality work
- Strong communication skills and a reliable, positive attitude
- Basic math proficiency
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Primarily requires standing and seated work with occasional kneeling, or squatting
- Good eyesight and ability to clearly distinguish colors
- Repetitive hand and arm motions required
