Duties Include: 
 
Job Summary 
 
Responsible for assembling electrical equipment. Reads and interprets instructions, assembles parts and tools, and fits electronic components together. 
 
Primary responsibilities 
  • Perform manual assembly during the small-scale production of electronic devices
  • Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders and reports
  • Review work activities with supervisors.
  • Inspect wiring installations, assemblies and circuits.
  • Assemble electrical or electronic systems and install components, wiring and subassemblies on circuit boards by manual soldering or solder-flow machine.
  • Adjust or repair electrical equipment.
  • Correct defects.  Fabricate or modify parts, using shop equipment.
  • Build products such as electronic control devices, and other equipment.
  • Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to blueprint specifications, using instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
  • Populate or modify/replace components on printed circuit board assemblies.
  • Test functional performance.
  • Tag/label components.
Job Requirements:

  • Has assembly/production experience and a strong mechanical aptitude 
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in related field – 
  • Prior experience with manual soldering of circuit boards
  • Motivated and detail oriented 
  • Attention to detail, excellent hand dexterity 
Possesses good communication skills and a great attitude
 
Position will require prolonged periods of sitting at a workbench with repetitive movements.

Physical lifting up to 35 lbs. may be required.
 
Compensation: $19.00 per hour
